Welcome to Wellminded Psychological Services
At Wellminded, I specialise in providing neuro-affirming, trauma-informed psychological support for autistic (takiwātanga) and ADHD (aroreretini) individuals, families, and the professionals who work with them. My practice is grounded in a deep respect for neurodiversity, recognising that different ways of thinking, feeling, and engaging with the world are natural human variations—not deficits to be corrected.
Please note: I am not taking on new clients at the moment as I am at full capacity
How I can help
Whether you are seeking therapy, professional supervision, or tailored training in neuro-affirming approaches, Wellminded offers services that centre your unique experiences, strengths, and goals.
Therapy
I provide EMDR therapy, adapted for the needs of neurodivergent clients, and draw on Ego-State, PACT (Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) when appropriate. Therapy is always collaborative and paced to support your nervous system’s readiness for change.
Supervision
I offer professional supervision to psychologists and allied clinicians who wish to build neuro-affirming, ethical, and reflective practices. Supervision is available for clinicians seeking to deepen their work with neurodivergent clients or to integrate EMDR into their practice.
Training and consultancy
I deliver professional development workshops for health and education providers, focusing on neuro-affirming assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic practice. Workshops are interactive, practical, and grounded in both lived experience and clinical expertise.
